Ipsy Bag: June '14
Hello there fellow bloggers, I'm back, from a very long hiatus. I just found myself not knowing what to write about, and sorting through some personal things in life. I'm going to slowly work my way back into blogging and getting posts up. Bear with me here! So, here is my June Ipsy Bag review. Can you believe it's already June!?
First of all I'd like to start off with saying how cute this bag is. One of my favorites so far, and overall my favorite bag so far. I can see myself using every product, and am very excited to. I have the original price of these products in parenthesis after the name. For $10 a month it's a bargain.
Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray ($3.25); I've never tried anything like this and I have annoying natural hair. It's the ugliest wavy thing you've ever seen, take my word for it. I am excited to try it though and see how it works. I'll do it on a day I don't plan on doing anything special in case it turns out horrendous.
Ole Henriksen Truth to Go Wipes 10 count ($9); I love makeup removing wipes! These make They are quite on the pricey side, so I'm not sure if I would ever purchase them. But, they smell so good. It's a familiar scent that I can't seem to remember. Anyway, I tried them and they made my face so soft and did a good job taking my makeup off. I give this two thumbs up!
Jesse's Girl Liquid Eyeliner in Black ($5.99); Beware! When I opened up this eyeliner it exploded all over the place. I was lucky I didn't get it on any clothes or anything. After cleaning up the pen and reading some reviews, I just got a faulty one. I am so happy this is in black because that's the only color I wear. It applies nicely, is long lasting, and very pigmented. Besides the disastrous first impression, I like this product, and the price is right!
Be a Bombshell Mascara in Lash Out ($15); I needed some new mascara so I was happy about getting this. And then I opened it. Wand was nice, and it looked like a great product. Then the smell hit me. It smells horrible. Super chemically and just not good. I have sensitive skin and eyes, so I won't be trying this product in fear it might irritate my eyes.
Nyx Butter Gloss ($5); Unlike the mascara this smells amazing, and it feels super good on the lips. The color is fairly invisible once applied to the lips. The color is called Eclair. It's not sticky at all which is a must for me.
Overall, I was pleased with the items in the bad and only disappointed in one product!
