Christmas was great. Tom and I managed to go to three different houses and still make it home before midnight. Success! I got a new laptop, a gym membership, new washer and dryer, and awesome stocking stuffers.
Tom and I didn't do much for New Years Eve besides go to dinner at a sushi place, come home, and watch Dexter.
Here's my rant for the end of season four. If you haven't seen it and plan on watching it, do not read this next section;
If you're still reading I hope it's either because you've seen it, or you don't care. I have never been so upset about a show before in my entire life. They killed off one of the best characters, and I literally cried and sat there with my mouth open for a good ten minutes trying to register what just happened. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU KILL OFF RITA!? I'm so emotionally attached to this show and the characters, and they go and do that? Dexter needs Rita. The show will not be the same without Rita. I am just pissed off. And to top it all off, Netflix hasn't updated the next season. Do you see my upset-ness?! I will be making a trip to Hastings today to get the next season before I go into cardiac arrest. I would love to meet whoever wrote this show and personally punch them in the face. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Udofaidaigadf.
Moving on. I have New Years Resolutions/Bucket List, as does the rest of the world.
Here they are:
1. Go to the gym at least 4 times a week.
2. Keep the house clean, laundry done.
3. Post on my blog at least once a week.
4. Get a new car.
5. Possibly move out.
6. Figure out what I really want to do for a career.
7. Read five books.
8. Finish writing a novel.
9. Maybe get a tattoo.
10. Go on a honeymoon.
11. Dye my hair brown.
12. Do at least 5 DIY projects.
13. Get grass growing in my yard.
14. Lose at least 75 pounds by the end of the year.
15. Do some sort of community service.
16. Donate blood.
17. Move up in my job.
18. Go on a ghost hunt with IPRG again.
19. Maintain a B average in school.
20. Be a vegetarian for a week.
Some of these are silly, yes. Some of them I probably won't do. But, 2014 I'm making my year to try some things new, some things old, and just overall be happy with the challenges I've put before me, and do them. I don't want to do the whole, "new year, new me." I want to do, "new year, better me." Here we go 2014, let's make it a good one.
Have some pictures of this last month.
