Green Thumb

Last year I attempted to grow a garden. Twice. My dog, or should I say my husband's dog, thought it would be quite the fun time to tear it up! Twice. My strawberry plants were the first to go, followed by my vegetable garden. This year I plan to do my garden again. A sturdy fence has been built around my garden so now I won't have a sneaky pup after my peppers!

I'm getting so excited to start planting! I'm lucky enough to work at a pet and garden store. Someday I hope to start my plants from little seedlings, but for now I will just stick with my starts.

Throughout the spring and summer I'm happy to announce I'll be posting some tips and tricks on how to get a great garden! Our store employees receive a lot of training on gardening and lawn care, and I am excited to share some of my knowledge for everyone in my new post series "Green Thumb"!
