Hunter's First Trip To The Zoo

A couple weeks ago we were able to take Hunter to the zoo for the first time! It was a wonderful time with our little family and my mother and father in law. He's at the age where he is so curious with everything. It's so adorable to see him exploring and discovering this world.

Now that it's been in the 100+ degree weather (it was 109 the other day, KILL ME) I'm so glad we got this trip done for the summer so we weren't taking him in blistering heat. The day was perfect weather wise. It was so much fun to see all the animals. We were lucky enough to see the lions come out of their cage into their viewing area where they put whip cream on different parts of the cage. This one female was very territorial and playful with a ball, it was adorable! Hunter's favorite animal was the sloth bear. He was infatuated! There was also this crazy crane that was hopping all over the place and spreading it's wings. It was pretty hilarious.

I can't wait to go back next year when he's a little older and more interactive. It's going to be so much fun! Now onto a ton of pictures!
