4th of July

I hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July for those who are American, of course. We had a very full day. We got up early and went to a parade, and then went to my mom's house for lunch. Little man was SO tired and didn't really get to enjoy too much of the parade. He loved the big fire trucks though, he was kicking his little legs like crazy. My favorite part of the parade is always the horses. I feel for the riders because it can be a little nerve-wracking because horses can be unpredictable. I have ridden my horse in a few parades and if they get nervous it can be a real treat. After having lunch at my parent's we went over to Tom's parents and had dinner and swam in the pool. We went home early about 6 o'clock because we were all very tired. Hunter and I crashed almost instantly. We didn't go to fireworks this year since he's still a little too young and it was passed his bedtime. He wakes up at the slightest noise, so I don't think he would have had too much fun. Next year!
